About your host
Hi! I'm Lauren!
I’ve been learning different languages for more than 15 years. My passion for language-learning brought me to start Polyglot Station and the Language TV Club, with a mission to connect language learners through fun activities and helpful resources.
Grab your ticket and join me and 10+ language-learning leaders for a one-of-a-kind event that will help you find the fun in learning a new language.
I can’t wait to see you there!
What to Expect at Language FunFest

You’ll also have a chance to win prizes by showing up and participating throughout the summit. Be sure to keep an eye on the leaderboard for chances to win prizes!
Activities
Fun looks different to everyone, which is why we're hosting a variety of different activities, including art, meditation, games, music and MORE, led by amazing language leaders. Your free ticket includes 24-hour access to each presentation during the weekend of the summit.
Upgrades
After registering, you’ll also have the chance to upgrade to the Language Fun Pack which includes ongoing access to the presentations after the summit wraps up, premium bonuses from our speakers, and more! You’ll get all the details (and a special offer) after grabbing your free ticket!
Community
You’ll have access to a private Facebook community of language learners like you who already love learning new languages! This is where you can connect with the leaders and other attendees before and during the event!
Accessibility
All live activities will include automatic captioning (English only) and pre-recorded sessions will include subtitles. Don't worry if you don't speak the language of the activity, there will be visual context to help you follow along and longer activities have English translations.

Say Goodbye to boring lectures and Hello to FUN!
You don’t need another summit teaching you how to make a daily language habit, telling you which app is best or hosting awkward conversations between strangers.
Good news! That is NOT what you’re going to find at this event.
Instead of covering tips and strategies for language-learning, this summit is about helping you EXPERIENCE what life is like in another language.
While you may not understand each language spoken throughout the event, you will be able to understand what is going on with context and English translations when available.
You’ll get connected with several small language businesses and amazing people who are already leading these activities in your target language. You may also be inspired to start your own club like a German Poetry Club or Japanese Painting Club!
aka activity leaders, experts, guides, super awesome language enthusiasts

What if I’m not able to attend live? Some of the activities will be pre-recorded but some will be live, and the presentations are only available for 24 hours with your free ticket. There will be many ways to engage with other language learners and presenters because this event is meant to be FUN and help you create meaningful connections. So we encourage you to attend live if you can! Are the presentations live? There will be a mix of live and pre-recorded activities and presentations. To avoid tech glitches, give you the best possible experience, and keep things easy for the speakers, we encourage pre-recorded presentations which will be released at a scheduled time during the event. However, all presenters will be hanging out in the chat and in our private Facebook group with dedicated threads where you can connect with them and ask your questions!
-
Will all the speakers get my email address? No. When you register, you’ll be added to the Polyglot Station email list so we can send you updates for the event and links to each day’s presentations. After the summit is over, you’ll continue to hear from us, but you can unsubscribe at any time. Many of the speakers will have free resources available that you can access by providing an email address, but the speakers will not get your email address unless you choose to give it to them specifically. That way, you only hear from the people you really love and don't have to worry about getting added to 10+ email lists that you're not interested in. You can learn more in our Privacy Policy.
-
Are your videos captioned or transcribed?Yes. All presentations have closed captioning, and SHOULD also be available in multiple languages, if all tech works as planned. Please reach out if there’s anything we can do to ensure you’re able to enjoy this event.
